Our Beginnings: A Family Affair
Prime Group is a multi-generational family business built on craftsmanship, trust and long-term relationships. From the first brick laid by Giuseppe Passione, the Prime Group has grown into a diversified property and construction group now led by his son Joe and grandson Joseph. Together, the Passione Family is continuing Prime’s legacy of quality, honesty and reliability.
Prime traces its story back to 1969 when Giuseppe built his first home with a commitment to deliver quality construction on time and on budget. More than five decades later, Prime is building homes for the children and grandchildren of the families we first worked with many years ago.
OUR HISTORY
From that first brick laid with a deep commitment to quality, it prepared the foundations of what would become a multi-generational construction and property group.
Today Prime spans residential construction, commercial projects, property development and investment. While the business has grown, the principles remain the same; honesty, reliability and delivering on time and on budget. Over five decades Prime has built thousands of homes and earned the trust of families who continue to return generation after generation.

Giuseppe Passione establishes Passione Homes and builds the first home on Light Street in Dianella
Laying the ground work
Joe Passione joins the family business and Passione Homes becomes Ipsaro Builders
Ipsaro Farming
Ipsaro Farming is established in the Chittering Valley
Prime Group
Prime Group branding is established
Prime Investments
Prime Investments is established with a dedicated team to manage an expanding property portfolio
Prime Developments
Prime Developments is established to work with selected joint venture partners on carefully selected projects
Prime Property
Prime Property is established to complement the work of the Prime Group providing realty and property services to our clients
Prime Group
The Prime Group moves into Victoria and is established to service New South Wales and Queensland markets from the new Melbourne base

Passione Wines is established producing some of the best WA vintages
AssetBuild
AssetBuild – our luxury home builder – is established to deliver custom designs across Australia
Premier Traditional
Premier Traditional is purchased in Victoria to service the luxury home building market
Move Homes
Move Homes is established – specialising in unique homes built to contemporary designs for owner occupiers
New Homes
New Homes is established to build a range of homes for first homebuyers and upgraders
Home of My Own
Home of My Own Foundation is established as a not-for-profit foundation to assist first home buyers with deposits
Angela Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Angela Extra Virgin Olive Oil is launched dedicated to Angela Passione – the Group’s matriarch – marketing super premium oil
Prime Developments
Prime Developments partnership is established with Peter Tesoriero to manage the acquisition and delivery of the Group’s developments
